Physiotherapy Pilates Proactive

Treatment

What does a treatment involve?

An initial consultation involves the physiotherapist asking a series of questions to learn about your problem. Based on those findings, the physiotherapist will then ask you to perform certain movements to further diagnose the source and cause of your problem. During the initial assessment there is usually time for some hands-on treatment if appropriate. You will also be prescribed some home exercises and given advice handouts about your condition.

During a subsequent consultation the physiotherapist will reassess you by asking you some follow-up questions and looking at select movements. Further treatment may be recommended, exercises are checked and progressed if required. We recommend you book in for two separate consultations during the week if there are two or more problems.
