Health fund rebates
All of our Physiotherapists are Registered Providers. This means that if you have private health cover, your fund may provide you with a rebate. If you would like to know in advance how much the rebate will be, contact your health fund and ask them – all they will need is the relevant item code listed below. We can generally process your rebate at the time of payment, using the HICAPS system. Please note that you are unable to claim for a class and physiotherapy consultation on the same day (apart from Health Partners clients).

Catastrophic Warning Policy
In the interest of staff and client safety, we have decided to close our Stirling practice on days where a Catastrophic Warning has been issued for the Mount Lofty Ranges. This warning is given the night before and covers the following 24 hours. Parkside will still be open and some Stirling clients may wish to attend this practice on these days. We will endeavour to call every client who is affected the night before and thank you in advance for your understanding with this matter.
Cancellation policy
Physiotherapy:
Due to the difficulty of obtaining preferred appointment times with our physiotherapists, a cancellation fee may be charged for any appointments not attended or when less than 24 hours notice is given. It would be appreciated if you call us as soon as possible to let us know that you are unable to attend your appointment. This gives us enough time to organise another client to fill the appointment. Your physiotherapist’s time is valuable so if you do not attend or if you cancel with less than 24 hours we reserve the right to charge 50% of the scheduled fee.
Pilates Cancellation/Expiry:
- If you are unable to attend a class please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer the spot to someone else
- If you miss a pre-booked class we reserve the right to charge the full fee
- Unused prepaid classes will expire after 4 months
Beginners and Specialty 5 week Pilates Courses:
We are unable to provide refunds except where a course is canceled or if the course for which you applied is full. Requests for a credit voucher (valid 12 months) will only be considered if you contact us at least five working days before the course starts or if you provide medical evidence of your inability to attend a major part of the course. Physiotherapy Pilates Proactive cannot accept responsibility for any changes in personal circumstances or work commitments.
